How does it work?
Laser Lipolysis effectively pierces the cell membranes of a fat cell, resulting in a temporary aperture, which allows the liquefied content to pass through. This occurs simultaneously to thousands of cells gradually resulting in the desired fat loss.
Where do the fat cells go?
The liquefied content, which passes through the piercing, is then absorbed from the interstitial space by the lymphatic system, just like any other energy source. Due to this patients often experience a high level of energy, immediately after their session.
Will I put the weight back on?
Unlike Cryolipolysis, fat cells are simply made smaller, therefore an individual’s excessive calorie intake could cause for the cells to increase in size once again. It is therefore important to maintain a healthy lifestyle, but don’t worry here at VIVO clinic we also give nutritional advice. We will support you every step of the way, but we understand how easy it is to lose control so you’re more than welcome to come in for more treatments.
